Mr. Puckett, a US Army Veteran, has over 15 years of experience in both industrial hygiene and safety disciplines. Seven and a half with the State of California Division of Occupational Safety and Health and over eight years with the US Navy both managing the industrial hygiene program for the Naval Hospital Lemoore Area of Responsibility, which encompasses Northern California and Northern Nevada and providing comprehensive industrial hygiene support .

He possesses a BS in Health Science-Environmental Health Science and Industrial Hygiene Option and a Master of Public Health with an Option in Environmental and Occupational Health. Both degrees were conferred by California State University, Fresno.

His professional credentials include Certified Industrial Hygienist (10518), Certified Safety Professional (27307), and Registered Environmental Health Specialist (6793) by the State of California Department of Public Health.
